Aira Force

The most beautiful Waterfall in the lakes, there are paths both sides of the beck and falls and good access from three carparks or a stroll down the hill from High Brow. The direct route and down to Ullswater is five miles, including the National Trust tea-shop and the pub in Dockray.

Ullswater

Best seen from the top of a hill, but drive around to Martindale, cruise on the steamer, sail, paddleboat or swim across are all options...

castlerigg.jpg

Castlerigg Stone Circle

Amazing panoramic views from the 5000 year old stone circle, easily accessible and so much more peaceful than Stonehenge...
